Like all promising relationships, we met by the bar at a company event in Hong Kong. We (Lareina) overcame Jake's resting serious face and quickly realized we both went to SEC schools and shared a lot of common hobbies! We had our first date shortly thereafter and soon took our first trip to Macao and the rest is history...

We visited the elk country in Jackson Hole after Christmas. We got to see the MOST SCENIC snowy mountain views, spend some TOASTY time in a romantic cabin, affirm that I have ZERO balance with snowshoeing, and see one of the largest Elk herds ( ...and Elk tastes very good too)! At the end of the trip, Jake took me on a dog sledding adventure. We experienced the ONCE IN A LIFETIME mountain routes led by a pack of the most lovely, muscular dogs (one called Squirt Butt) in -15 degree temp! When we arrived at the top of the mountain, Jake pulled out the ring from his 1000 layers of clothes and popped the question!! I was so frozen (literally) at that moment, but I was also the WARMEST, HAPPIEST, and MOST LOVED lady in the world! Fun fact - Jake had to nervously but carefully carry around the ring throughout the whole trip because the romantic cabin has no lock!! LOL
