How will we stay connected on the resort?
Answer
We’d love for everyone to stay connected throughout the trip! We encourage all guests to download WhatsApp before traveling. A wedding group chat will be created so we can easily share updates, reminders, meet-up details, activities, and fun moments during the celebration weekend. This will be the easiest way for everyone to stay in touch while at the resort and in Mexico. We can’t wait to celebrate with everyone!

Something Blue To kick off our wedding weekend, we're putting a destination-inspired twist on a wedding tradition. We invite our guests to wear Resort Chic attire and incorporate a touch of blue into their look—whether it's a bold statement or a subtle accent. Think ocean hues, breezy linens, and vacation-ready style as we celebrate together under the Mexican sky.

Formal Attire | Shades of Melanin Dress to impress in elegant, formal attire inspired by the rich beauty of melanin tones. We invite our guests to wear warm, earthy, and luxurious shades that complement our Mexico beach celebration. Think: • Honey • Caramel • Bronze • Copper • Terracotta • Cinnamon • Mocha • Chocolate • Espresso • Deep cocoa • Warm taupe • Rich browns Suggested attire: Women: Formal gowns, elevated midi/maxi dresses, sophisticated jumpsuits, or elegant formal separates. Men: Suits, dress shirts with slacks, linen suits, or formal attire in rich neutral and earth tones. Our celebration will take place outdoors. We recommend lightweight, breathable fabrics and comfortable footwear.

Can we purchase a traditional gift instead of giving cash?
Answer
Your love and presence at our wedding are truly the greatest gifts we could ask for! As we begin this next chapter together, we are focusing on building our future and saving toward purchasing a home. In place of a traditional registry, we kindly ask guests who wish to give a gift to consider contributing to our newlywed/home fund. Your generosity will help us create a place to call home and build memories together for years to come. We are incredibly grateful for your love, support, and celebration with us!

What is the weather like in Mexico?
Answer
Expect warm temperatures, sunshine, and tropical evenings. We recommend packing light clothing, swimwear, and a light layer for air-conditioned spaces.

Is it a requirement to attend activities with the couple outside of the wedding?
Answer
One of the reasons we chose a destination wedding is because we wanted to share a beautiful vacation experience with our favorite people. Outside of our planned events, we encourage everyone to relax, explore, and enjoy everything the resort has to offer. Whether you're poolside, on an excursion, or simply soaking up the sunshine, we hope this trip feels like a celebration and a vacation.
