What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony begins at 4pm. Please arrive 30 minutes before the ceremony so you can find parking and get settled.

Is parking available at the venue?

Answer

Yes! The venue is a private property located near a public park. The venue does have a small parking lot but there is plenty of free parking on the street just outside of the venue.

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is semi-formal! Please be aware, the venue is outdoor, the ground may be uneven in some areas and you will be on grass and decomposed granite.

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Everything will take place outdoors.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Regrettably, we can't provide a definitive answer! Over our three years in Reno, we've come to understand that the weather here is truly unpredictable. (Yes, we even experienced a snow day in June last year!) While early October typically offers pleasant weather, we can't guarantee it. We recommend keeping an eye on your weather app as the day draws nearer for a more accurate forecast. Also, please note that our entire venue is outdoors without any coverings, so please dress accordingly. Rain or shine, we're excited to celebrate our special day with you!

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Absolutely! While we love having children join us for the celebration, we kindly request that for the ceremony, children at or under the age of 5 are supervised by the complimentary professional sitter provided. After the ceremony, all little ones are welcome to join the festivities at the reception. Looking forward to celebrating with you and your family! Please let us know when you RSVP if you are choosing to bring your little one.

What type of food and drink will be served during the cocktail hour and reception?

Answer

We will have an open bar serving 2 signature cocktails, as well as beer, wine, and champagne. We will have a taco truck serving esquites during cocktail hour and a birria plate with rice and beans for dinner.

Can I take pictures on my phone during the ceremony?

Answer

While we appreciate your enthusiasm, we kindly request that guests refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. We have hired professional photographers to capture the special moments. However, feel free to snap away during the reception and share your memories with us!

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

We've decided not to create a traditional wedding registry as we feel we have everything we need. Instead, for those who wish to contribute, we've set up a honeymoon fund. Your generous contributions towards our honeymoon would mean the world to us. Thank you for considering this gesture of love and support.
