Cocktail attire. We're excited to dress up and celebrate, and we'd love for you to dress up with us—we know you clean up well! Think polished and fun: suits or sport coats are great (ties optional), but a button-down or polo with dress pants works just fine too. For women, dressy dresses or elevated separates are perfect. And please leave the “nice jeans” at home—we promise this is a great excuse to look sharp for the night. Our ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors, followed by an indoor reception, so keep that in mind when choosing your shoes. Block heels, wedges, or dressy flats are great options for the lawn.
Due to the size of our venue and our goal of keeping the day intimate, we're only able to accommodate the guests listed on the invitation. We truly appreciate your understanding and can't wait to celebrate with you!
While we love your little ones, due to venue limitations we're only able to accommodate kiddos of close family and babies in arms. If your child's name appears on your invite, they are warmly welcomed! Otherwise, we hope you'll take this as a chance to enjoy a well-deserved evening out with us. We truly appreciate your understanding.
Yes! We're planning to celebrate all weekend long. Some events will be invitation specific, and details will be included with your formal invitation. We'll also share any open weekend gatherings here as plans are finalized. For guests traveling in, we recommend keeping Friday evening through Sunday afternoon open if you'd like to join in the festivities.
Formal invitations will be mailed in August.
The RSVP deadline and process will be listed on your formal invitation.

Sioux City has a small regional airport (SUX), which is the most convenient option if you’re able to find a good flight. However, flights can be limited and sometimes more expensive. Many guests choose to fly into Omaha’s Eppley Airfield (OMA), which is the closest major airport and offers more airline and flight options. Omaha is about a 90-minute drive from Sioux City, so renting a car is recommended. The drive is straightforward and mostly a straight shot up Interstate 29.
