Le Méridien Essex Chicago

There is a hotel room block available for our guests at the Le Meridien Essex Chicago for a rate of $159 a night plus USD taxes & fees. The hotel is centrally located across from Grant Park in downtown Chicago. Book your room prior to June 9, 2022 to take advantage of the special offer! If you run into any issues, please let us know. There will also be a shuttle running from the hotel to the ceremony location (Garfield Park Conservatory) to the reception location (115 Bourbon Street) and back. Parking at the hotel is $75/night - yikes! if you're driving in, we highly recommend parking at the nearby East West University Lot #99 at 801 S. Wabash and booking through the SpotHero app.

Shuttle Service - Reggies Bus

A shuttle will be available to our guests that will provide transportation from Hotel Essex to Garfield Park Conservatory, from Garfield Park Conservatory to Bourbon Street, and then from Bourbon Street back to Hotel Essex. Please contact Lara if you have not RSVP'd for the shuttle and would like to use it. CTA

The Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) has a train system, the L, which is a great way to get in and around the city. Check out the link for routes and stops. From O'Hare International Airport to Hotel Essex Take a 45 minute train ride on the Blue Line [Forest Park] to the LaSalle stop [20 stops] and walk about 13 minutes to the hotel [0.6 miles]. From Midway International Airport to Hotel Essex Take a 20 minute train ride on the Orange Line [Loop] to the Roosevelt stop [7 stops] and walk about 7 minutes to the hotel [0.4 miles].
