Our Story
Some stories are written in the stars long before two souls meet—and this is one of them. Mahmoud and Lara’s journey began on June 18th, 2023, in Michigan, where fate brought them together. Though Lara lived in Long Beach, California, she was visiting family nearby. Remarkably, both had attended the same high school years before but never met—until now.
Their connection grew quickly through heartfelt talks and laughter, despite the distance and time zones. Lara’s warmth, faith, and strength deeply touched Mahmoud. In late 2024, Lara returned to Michigan, embracing a new chapter full of hope and faith.
Their story is one of faith, patience, and love guided by Allah (SWT). Choosing simplicity over tradition, they begin this new chapter with gratitude, hope, and prayers for a blessed life together.
