Verona is the closest City to the venue and where we will be locating some post-wedding celebrations. However, if you want to extend your stay here, we highly recommend it as a City break. Check out the Arena Di Verona (and even take in an event/ Opera if schedules permit), Piazza Bra (largest square in Verona), Castelvecchio Museum (14th Century medieval castle), Castelvecchio Bridge, Piazza Delle Erebe, Juliet's balcony (if you have the patience for the queues), Ponte Pietra (for the views of Verona) and Piazzale Castel San Pietro, and of course, just wandering around the beautiful streets having Aperols, wine and food is an excellent way to see the City.
Just a short train journey from Verona and well worth a visit if you haven't been before.
Milan is also a short train ride from Verona and is full of culture, food and fashion. Check out Da Vinci's Last Supper, see the Duomo and have aperitivo in the the square, Castello Sforzesco, and the Galleria, head to I Navigli for dinner and even try a spa in an old train station (QC Terme).
