On May 1, 2018 Lara was on a trip in Florida with one of her best friends while Josh was preparing for finals at Clemson. She saw a message notification pop up on her phone from Instagram and there it was: a message from Josh. Josh and Lara met in person for the first time two weeks later, and have been together ever since. So I guess that's your friendly reminder to answer one of those DMs (direct messages) in your inbox.

Josh and Lara love to travel and take short trips. Josh had mentioned how he had never been to Charleston so they started planning a Charleston trip. At least, that's what Lara thought was happening. In reality Josh had been planning this trip for a few months and had been in touch with some of her closest friends. They drove down to Charleston on a Friday and Lara stressed the entire time about running late and not knowing what to wear to dinner with Kat and Stritch. They finally made it there and to dinner (they were late). After dinner the four of them all went walking on Sullivan's Island where Josh asked Lara to take a picture in front of the light house. Next thing she knew he was down on one knee, and some of their best friends were running out with cameras. And obviously she said yes!
