To our friends flying in, do us a favor?

Answer

Get your boarding passes printed at the airport when you fly in. We'll have a collection box for them at the reception. We'd love to keep your boarding passes as a memory of our friends traveling from all over to celebrate with us!

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Kindly RSVP online by September 1st via the form on our website. If you can't make it know that you will be missed, but please do still RSVP "no" to let us know as early as possible so we can plan accordingly.

What time should I be there?

Answer

Please plan to arrive at 3:30pm. The ceremony will start at 4:00pm. (Let's not forget about that JFK traffic.)

Where is the wedding and will I have to travel between locations?

Answer

Everything is happening at the TWA! Ceremony: Sunken Lounge Cocktails: Ambassadors Club Reception: 1962 Ballroom (fun fact this used to be the terminal's baggage claim) These spots are within a minute walk of each other and are all indoors.

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

We are not providing transportation since our wedding and hotel are all in one place. We encourage staying onsite at the hotel, ridesharing, or using the subway/AirTrain. Hey, you can even arrive by airplane. Fly in, party, and fly out the next day!

What is the parking situation?

Answer

Please refer to our 'Directions' page for more info. TWA Valet Parking Event Rate: Event day (0-5 hrs): $15 + tax Event day (5-10 hrs): $20 + tax Overnight: $39 + tax Between parking costs and the open bar, we strongly recommend using rideshare services or public transportation.

Suggested attire is cocktail / semi-formal. Think jacket and optional tie, midi dresses, or dressy separates.

Can I take photos?

Answer

Ceremony: no Cocktail hour: yes Reception: yes _ We love photos! But we ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony as we'd like that time to be unplugged. Please keep your phones/cameras away and just enjoy the moment with us. We've hired a talented photographer to capture our wedding and can't wait to share those photos with you after the big day. We'll have a photo booth during the reception with unlimited prints - take as many pics here as you want! We'll have a collection box by the photo booth so please leave a copy of your photo strips for us too. Bonus: you'll also find a free classic TWA photo booth in the lobby.

What type of food and drink will be served?

Answer

We'll be serving passed hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour, followed by a plated dinner and dessert at the reception. Open bar available all evening with an assortment of beverage options. You'll be prompted to provide a meal selection with your RSVP. Meat, fish, and vegetarian options available.

Can I bring a gift to the wedding?

Answer

Your presence truly is present enough ♥ But should you wish to gift us something, since we live out of state, kindly ship the item to the given address on our registry, or consider contributing to our honeymoon fund. We will have a box for cards at the reception.

Please refer to your online RSVP to see if you may bring a plus one. We'll be honest, we're keeping the wedding intimate and in our budget so we can't accommodate many plus ones. Thank you for understanding.

Will the hotel pool be open in November?

Answer

Two words: Heated. Pool. The rooftop pool is 90+ degrees in the winter and becomes a "poolcuzzi," so pack your bathing suit if you're planning to extend your stay or take an evening swim. No reservations are required in November. Any TWA overnight guest is welcome to use the pool as a walk-in without fee or reservation. Daily: 11:00 to 11:00 pm

We're so excited to see you all in one place, however everyone's health is important to us. We ask that our guests follow all mask and other covid-related protocols of our venue, NYC, and while traveling to us.
