How we meet

middle school babies to husband and wife

We meet in the sixth grade, but truth be told we didn't notice each other until almost four years later. We shared maybe two sentences prior to our friendship blossoming. We had mutual friends so we hung out a lot in similar groups, but I never really paid attention to Bryce. After he insisted that we went to lunch together one day, our relationship began. Our lunches turned into dinner dates and then that turned into meeting each others parents. We were told not we wouldn't last because we were 17 and it was simply young love. We had lots of ups and downs, but that never stopped us from coming back to each other. After we graduated high school we moved in together and faced lots of challenges. Late nights at school, overpowering days at work, loss of loved ones, and financial struggles made our relationship stronger. We learned things we had never knew about each other, and we tailored our relationship to fit our needs. We will forever be grateful for the family and friends who have cheered us on along the way. Thank you to all who love us.

our proposal

when in Paris, right?

Bryce watched me dream of our trip to Paris for over 2 years so I guess he thought it was only fitting to pop the question while we were there. I had guessed that it was a possibility, but when we made it to Paris he was strangely calm. I got super nervous and decided that I had made the whole proposal up in my head and that I was going home with no ring. Little did I know the ring was stowed in my aunt's purse as we arrived at the Eiffel Tower. Bryce and my aunt passed the ring back and forth three times because of metal detector stations and the final time she passed it to him on the elevator on our way up, Bryce dropped the ring. He scrambled to the floor to grab it before I could see it, but I was too deep in a conversation with other girls to notice. When we got off the elevator we went to he upper level of the second floor on the Eiffel Tower, and I was posting out all of my favorite places in Paris. Bryce intently stared at me at me as h began to tell me how much he loved me. He then reached in his pockets, pulled out the most beautiful ring, got on one knee and asked me to be his wife. Of course I said yes as I burst into tears because I had dreamed of this since I was a little girl. Then we spent the first week of our engagement on the vacation of a lifetime as I admired my new ring.
