Our first photo together: Art Basel December 2022. Not yet ready for a "soft launch."

First photo Tony ever sent Lara. A lot of energy was spent ensuring that no construction workers witnessed the taking of this selfie. The reputational harm would have been irreparable.

First photo Tony took of Lara. And in many ways, still his favorite.

Our first trip to Asheville, NC.

Our first international trip to Greece revealed differences in planning styles. Tony was responsible for booking hotels. Half were booked the week before we left. The other half were booked in Greece.

Once those differences were "addressed," we embarked to Japan in search of great sushi. (Side note: Lara wants a cat. This mural, in the Tokyo subway, will be as close as she gets as Tony is allergic)

Pensively staring into the middle distance, Mount Fuji in the background, waiting for Tony to get out of bed sometime before noon.

New York City. Tony loves NYC and demands an annual trip. Lara agrees (provided said trip occurs between May and September).

All trips now involve detours to architectural landmarks, and impromptu explanations of their significance, which Lara largely ignores.

Doodling house plans in Lima, Peru. But really, this photo could have been taken anywhere. He's always doodling floor plans.

Burning Man is good for Lara's soul. Lara's Playa name is "Little Koala." Tony's is "Chaturanga." Ask them why at the after party.

The time that Lara took Tony to "Burning Man-with-training wheels," also known as Love Burn--a four-day regional Burning Man celebration on Virignia Key in Miami. He quickly go into the spirit.

... and then kept getting into the spirit.

Taking Tony to Black Rock City was a clear test for their future together. He passed, though it was unclear that he'd return. A part of him can still be found biking Deep Playa.

Koala in the unlikeliest of wilderness locations--the Smoky Mountains outside Asheville, NC.

Tony and Lara celebrated Lara's first birthday as a couple with a cocktail smoke bubble. At home, amateur mixology abounds, and plenty of experiments with craft cocktails have passed between our lips (and occasionally been dumped down the drain). Ask Tony about his milk punches or his cashew infused gin.

We try to cook together, but a phenomenon known as "Tornado Tony" takes over the kitchen. Lara (mostly) doesn't complain about the cooking--which can at times be excellent. Cleanliness, however, leaves a bit to be desired.

Our favorite weekends involve buying more plants, or surrounding ourselves with them.

Repeat - we buy alot of plants

After plants/nature, our next favorite days involve sunshine or the beach. Pro Tip: The best spot on Miami Beach is at 29th opposite the Edition, where the rock outcroppings give you a place to sit with a book.

We dress up occasionally! Pictured here: The Faena Hotel in Miami Beach, which has a taxidermy leopard in the living room and a golden woolly mammoth in the garden. It's a demure and unassuming place.

An ode to the now-closed Broken Shaker, where a cocktail garnish could become a floral hairpiece.

Old man alert: Tony loves doing his crossword puzzles outdoors. Pictured here: The Standard in Sunset Harbour/South Beach

In reality, most weekends are spent on Tony's self-performed home renovation. Lara remains enduringly supportive of this effort until this day...

This "job-well-done" pose was well-deserved: Lara helped Tony lay down his hardwood floors (for the second time), cataloging each board and running an efficient installation.

In return, Tony's been supportive of Lara's EMBA program and enjoyed the weekends alone to work on said apartment.

"Seriously, now?" was followed by "I do" (or more realistically "sure"), which was followed with a post-proposal surprise weekend trip to Mexico City.

When your soon-to-be-wife is way out of your league, you try your hand at artsy photography. Here, Lara acquiesces to Tony's "inspiration" in Mexico City, post-engagement.

Lara's sister Anna and niece Chloe did an excellent job with our engagement shoot. Chloe's directorial critiques were critical to its success.

We've upped our skincare regime pre-wedding. "We" have done this voluntarily and without resistance.
