Wes and I met originally at a music studio. We were glued to each other at first site. We became really close and eventually started dating and got married in 2003. As you all know we had a rough marriage. A lot of hurt, pain, and bad choices on both parts. We eventually separated in 2012 and then divorced in 2013. Walking away was the hardest on both parts but it was so much hurt and chaos between us we needed to go our separate ways so that God could change both of our hearts individually. That process was hard because I wanted God to restore our family but Wes didn’t. He had already set up other plans in his heart for his future and I wasn’t apart of that. We went on years and years having to communicate daily of course because of our children. Boy, was that difficult on both parts but one day God changed our communication and our love for one another. We both realized that even if we were not together we would always love each other and we wished Gods best for each other. Of course, God had other plans. Lol! That’s who he is! Our relationship changed drastically just by the both of us having that conversation with each other. I never stopped praying for Wesley's heart and I was still believing God for the IMPOSSIBLE. We got very close and became very good friends. Wes, eventually walked away from what he believed would be his future and he allowed God to heal and restore his heart back to him. During that process I continued to stand, pray and believe God for Wesley’s return to our family. Well, God did just what he promised me and Wesley and I got engaged on December 2, 2018! We are so excited about our future and God does restore and heals broken marriages and brings families back to him. We have learned to love each other Gods way. God has planted purpose in our family and we are forever grateful that he has allowed us to have a second chance at LOVE. We are not perfect by any means but God is. We are ready for all that he has in store for uour family.
Wesley proposed to me at my home church, Victory P&W Center. It was so unexpectedly, but God ordained. That day was so perfect and God used Wesley in such a mighty way to share our journey with the WORLD. God did just what he promised and I'm forever grateful that I chose to STAND and be obedient to the process. Only God can change and restore a man's heart. God's love is forever and never ending, he never gave up on Wes and I. To God be ALL the Glory for he has done Great things!
