We’re thrilled to invite you to our “I Do” Barbecue to celebrate our engagement! This special event is hosted by the parents of the bride, and we are deeply grateful for their love and support in bringing everyone together. Join us for a joyful day filled with fun, delicious food, and celebration as we kick off this exciting season of our lives!
Casual and comfortable! Sundresses and jeans are perfect. Since this event is outdoors, we suggest wearing shoes suitable for grass or uneven ground. March weather in Hopkins, South Carolina can be mild, but it’s always good to bring a light jacket or sweater to stay cozy in case the weather dips.

Final Run Before the Fun: Wedding Rehearsal

This event will be located on the beach side of the grounds. Follow the signs to the office and you will see the pavilion where the ceremony will be rehearsed. The goal is to walk through the full wedding ceremony from start to finish so that everyone feels confident and comfortable with their roles on the big day.
The Night Before: Julian & LaQuesha's Rehearsal Dinner

This lovely event is exclusively for the wedding party and hosted by the family of the groom, and we are so grateful for their support and generosity. Join us as we celebrate together before the big day!
Dinner will be on location and served outside under one of the many covered shelters.

Becoming One at One: Private Ceremony

We are deeply grateful to have you join us for our private ceremony as we exchange our vows in an intimate setting.
Attire: The attire for our outdoor private ceremony is semi-formal. To ensure your comfort in the summer heat, we suggest light, breathable fabrics. As the ceremony will take place outdoors, we recommend footwear suitable for grass or uneven surfaces. Timing: Our ceremony will begin promptly at 1:00 PM at the Weston Lake Outdoor Pavilion. We kindly ask that you arrive by 12:45 PM to ensure you are seated before we begin. Location & Weather: The ceremony will be held outdoors at the beautiful Weston Lake Pavilion. In the event of inclement weather, the ceremony will move indoors to the Weston Lake Community House, located on the same grounds. Reception to Follow: After the ceremony, we invite you to join us at the Weston Lake Community House starting at 3:00 PM. The celebration will continue with a cocktail hour followed by a delicious dinner, lively dancing, and plenty of joy as we celebrate our marriage together.

We encourage polished yet comfortable outfits to enjoy an evening of dining, dancing, and joy. • For Women: Cocktail dresses, maxi dresses, or elegant jumpsuits. • For Men: Suits or dress shirts with slacks; ties and jackets are optional. Feel free to embrace our garden party theme by incorporating soft colors or floral prints into your look. Since the reception will be held indoors, you can dress comfortably to celebrate and dance the night away!
The festivities will take place at the Weston Lake Community House starting with a cocktail hour at 3:00 PM.
