Nobody had caught my eye that night but the only bright orange dress that she was wearing. For some reason, my gaze never left her direction and I found it increasingly difficult to turn away. A warm feeling began to grow, and I knew that I had to have her name by the end of the night. It was not long before I had her attention and asked her name. We were getting ready for our first hike on the beautiful island of Oahu, Hawaii. Roland was all over the place full of excitement. He is all about the outdoors and new adventures so I was happy to experience this with him. We made our way to the Lanikai Pillbox and amazed by the view of the island along the way. Once we got to the first stop along the way, there was this awesome pillbox with some people taking a break on top of it. Roland asked me to climb up and appreciate the view of the ocean. I never knew how heights made me feel until I could look down and see a straight drop. After a little convincing, finally facing my fears I got up there with him. Roland asked to take a picture with me, next thing I know I hear "baby I have a question for you." I turned around and he was on one knee asking me to marry him. I will never forget this day. Since then I have been eager with excitement to marry my best friend and becoming a Garcia! - Felicia
