Can I bring a guest?

Answer

As much as we would love for everyone to attend our special day, we are only able to accommodate those guests who are formally invited on the wedding invitation. If you did receive a plus one, you will see them listed under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for your understanding.

Are kids welcome?

We love the little ones, but have decided to make our event adults only. Please take this opportunity to have a date night!

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony and reception are both located within Heritage Hotel, so if you choose to book a room there you won't need to worry about transportation.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We recommend booking a room at the Heritage Hotel! You can use the following link to be placed in our room block: https://www.bestwestern.com/en_US/book/hotel-rooms.07029.html?groupId=P28KV9L3 or you can call the hotel at 203.264.8200 - PRESS ZERO to speak with the front desk and reference Loehle/ Laprise wedding and you will be placed into our room block (rate of $165 on 4/26/25 and $155 on 4/27/25). These prices are for a standard king or a room with two double beds. Check-in time is 4pm and check-out is 11am. We currently have 25 rooms reserved for each night. If you do not book your room within 45 days of the arrival date then the rooms will be released and the room and rate above will no longer be secured. It is encouraged if you are planning to book a room that you do so early as they are known to sell out often.

Is there a dress code?

The attire for the event will be semi-formal.

Are the ceremony and reception at the same venue?

Answer

Yes! The ceremony and reception will take place at the Heritage Hotel in Southbury, CT. If you choose to stay for the after party, that will also take place at the Heritage Hotel.

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

If you are unable to attend, please indicate so on the RSVP so we are able to plan accordingly. You will be missed!

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by February 27th so that we can get a final headcount and plan accordingly. If you do not respond by this date, we will assume that you will not be attending and you will not be included in our final count. If you miss the deadline, but would like to attend please let Brandon or Leah know ASAP and we will see if it is not too late to be added, but cannot guarantee a spot at that point.
