We're Getting Married!

Sawyer and Olivia met at their church. The first time Sawyer attended, Olivia noticed him sitting with his nephews and thought he was cute. However, it was not until Olivia was tasked to set up a double date with a mutual friend that an opportunity presented itself for them to get to know one another. When her date had yet to be decided, Olivia asked their mutual friend to see if Sawyer would be willing to be her date. Sawyer, thinking he was the wingman, agreed. We decided to meet at Canes and bowl. However, after a not-so-great start to the date at the bowling alley, we went to Andy's and talked for hours. The rest is history!

While on a Christmas vacation in Broken Bow, OK., with Olivia's family, Sawyer and Olivia took family photos. After the whole family portraits, it was Sawyer and Olivia's turn to take their pictures. However, after a few shots, Sawyer told Olivia that he had something he wanted to tell her. He said she was his best friend and that he wanted to spend his life with her. It was then that he got down on one knee and asked if she would marry him. Of course, she said yes (and happy-cried also, of course)!
