We met each other in fall 2007 where we both attended Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. After graduating in 2011, Katie started her quest to visit all of the U.S. National Parks and dragged Matt along on many road trips to South Dakota (2013), Kentucky (2014), Wyoming and Idaho (2015), Tennessee and West Virginia (2016), North Dakota and Montana (2017), Pennsylvania and Virginia (2018), and Colorado (2019). We moved in together in 2016, bought our first home in 2017, and adopted Potato the Pomeranian in 2018. Our next adventure? Marriage!

Love is patient. We were not. While we postponed our full wedding and reception due to the pandemic, we got married on our original date of June 6, 2020 surrounded by our closest family members. We wish we could have celebrated with all of our friends and family, but couldn't wait to make it official. We understand it may be difficult to travel or some may not feel comfortable, but we hope you can join us to help celebrate our first anniversary together!
