Our first (and second, and third) date was a Bruins game in Boston - go Bs! Before our third date we went to one of our favorite restaurants, the Tip Tap Room, famous for amazing steak tips and craft beers. Nick was living on the Cape and Meredith was living in South Boston at the time. They dated (and traveled back and forth) for many months before Nick finally moved to the city. The rest is history!

Nick and Meredith set off for a California vacation in January of 2018. In classic Meredith fashion, she was running late and ran onto the plane, almost missing the flight! They landed in LA and spent a few days exploring the Pasadena area. Meredith and Nick then jumped on the train to San Diego to start the second leg of their trip in La Jolla. Every night at sunset the residents of La Jolla cove venture outside to watch the sun dip into the ocean. We walked along the cove on our way to dinner, enjoying the amazing 360 degree view. Waiting for the crowds to leave, we found a secluded area and sat down on a bench to enjoy the view. Nick got down on one knee and popped the question! Shocked, Meredith screamed yes and they spent of the rest of their vacation celebrating with lots of champagne and adventures around San Diego.
