FAQs

Question

WHAT INFORMATION DO I NEED TO KNOW FOR THE WEDDING DAY?

Answer

Transportation will leave the city center by 4:15 pm (Via de' Vecchietti & Piazza di Santa Maria Maggiore); please be on time, as the busses will not be able to wait past then. We will have a short ceremony beginning around 5:15 p.m., followed by a cocktail hour. Both will take place outside, weather permitting. As weather can be unpredictable in the spring, we recommend bringing a jacket with you. The dinner and after-party will take place indoors. Transportation will be provided home from the venue; one bus will be available to take guests back to Florence at 12:30; the rest of the busses will leave at 2:00 am. Most importantly, be ready to eat, drink and dance! We are so excited to celebrate with you all :)

Question

I WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ATTEND DUE TO TRAVEL/COSTS. WHAT CAN I DO?

Answer

We understand the gravity of asking our loved ones to travel internationally for a wedding, as travel is expensive and schedules are restrictive. While we are immensely grateful to everyone who considers attending, please do not worry if you can't attend for any reason! All we can ask for is your love and well-wishes.

Question

What are the requirements to travel to Italy?

Answer

Please ensure your passport is up-to-date. 6 months' validity is recommended, and at least 3 months' validity after your date of departure from Italy is required. Current passport processing time is 10-13 weeks. The European Union was set to institute a requirement that nationals of the United States apply for an ETIAS travel authorization for entry into 30 European countries, including Italy, beginning the first half of 2025. However, the EES/ETIAS system has been postponed and not set to begin until at least October 2025.
