We suggest cocktail attire, but keep in mind that the ceremony is outdoors (reception is indoors) and it may cool down a bit in the evening. We do not recommend wearing heels due to the uneven terrain and grass, especially during the standing, outdoor ceremony. Wedges or block heels *may* be okay but we care about your ankles and want you to be comfortable/have fun! We also suggest bringing a wrap, jacket, sweater, etc. just in case it gets chilly in the evening.
While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.
We respectfully ask that only those specifically mentioned on the invitation RSVP or come to the wedding. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask, though. Please text Ryan or Kiersten if so.
We will certainly miss you! Please be sure to tell us ASAP. Ideally, let us know before the RSVP deadline.
Please voice any dietary restrictions at the time of your RSVP so we can accommodate them as best as we can! The appetizers and dinner will be cooked on site. Some items may be free of wheat but cannot claim to be truly gluten free (it’s not a dedicated gluten free kitchen). Appetizers will be served in the afternoon/early evening. Dinner will be buffet-style. If you have specific questions, please let us know.
It is usually dry at this point in October, but you never know! During the day it is likely to be a little warm and during the evening/night it will cool down. We’ll try to post a more accurate weather estimate as we get closer to the wedding. We recommend packing some items you can layer, a jacket, an umbrella (just in case!), and sunscreen in addition to what you’ll wear for the wedding & in your down time.
Both will occur at Roaring Camp Railroad in Felton, CA. The ceremony is standing and outdoors. The reception will have ample seating & will be indoors. There will be outdoor space for the reception, as well.
The ceremony will be outdoors. The reception will be primarily indoors with an outdoor seating area as well.
After the ceremony, the wedding party will take photographs. During this time, please head to the reception hall where you will be able to have drinks and appetizers. Feel free to explore the grounds a bit, but please be back in time for the next item on the wedding schedule!
We got you covered so there is no cost to park! If there is a parking attendant, just let them know that you’re here for the Fritzsche-Lantrip wedding. There is a lot on site where you will be able to park.
Transportation will not be provided. Please inquire with your hotel to see if they offer a local shuttle service. Please drive responsibly or plan to stay locally overnight if you plan on drinking. There are a number of hotels nearby.
Yes, please! We will appoint someone to help coordinate this as we get closer. Please do not remove anything from the drink, buffet, gift, or guest book tables.
Why yes, there are a lot of consonants in her last name! Fritzsche is pronounced by putting an 'fr' in front of the word 'itchy.' It looks like 'Fritzsche' but it sounds like 'Fritchy.' While we're at it, the 'Kier' in Kiersten rhymes with ear. =)
There will be an open wine/beer bar. The venue does not allow hard alcohol on site. Please drink responsibly. Roaring Camp Railroad will allow you to leave your car overnight as long as you come pick it up in the morning. We would be happy to call a cab for you or help you arrange transportation. Your safety & the safety of others is important to us!
