Mark and Courtney met at a brewery in February of 2020 while hanging out with mutual friends. While they enjoyed the evening, the time wasn't right and neither of them were interested in each other. They reconnected at a friends' wedding in July of 2021 and started talking a bit more after that. Come December 2021, Mark was in town for a birthday celebration and Courtney met up with him and his friends. It was after that weekend that both of them started having feelings for each other. Their first date was January 2022 and they quickly realized it just felt right. They were engaged in September 2022 while enjoying a long weekend away.
