Flight
Murtala Muhammed International Airport located in Lagos, Nigeria will be the arrival airport. The first wedding ceremony to take place will be January 5th, 2023. We recommended guest arrive by January 3rd, 2023. The airport can be extremely busy so we suggest guest travel in groups.
Travel Note
To travel to Nigeria you are required to have a visa and valid passport. Your passport must NOT expire within six months of your departure date. To obtain your visa, you will be required to send your passport off to have the visa placed. For the visa application you must first have your flight ticket and confirmation number. We suggest you book your flight as soon as possible, so you can begin the visa process. Traveling during the months of December and January are peak season for the Nigerian Embassy, so please avoid sending off your passport and visa application any later than September 1, 2022. Passports sent prior to September should be returned to you within 1-2 weeks. There are FIVE Nigerian Embassy locations in the US located in: Atlanta, Houston, Los Angeles, Washington D.C. and New York City. You can make an appointment at any of these offices to go in person and expedite the visa process. Attached you will find the Nigerian Embassy website link for detailed instructions.
Hotel
We have chosen Eko Hotel as the preferred hotel for guest. To book rooms, guest must utilize Google Doc sent via email to select room selections and dates. Please refer to your email for more detailed instructions.
