Question

Where is the wedding?

Answer

We will be having both the wedding ceremony and the reception at Haven on the Farm in Edwards, IL. The address for our venue is 6221 US-150 Edwards, IL 61528.

Question

Where do guests park?

Answer

Guests should park in the guest parking lot behind the OSF Healthcare Franciscan Prairie Center. Turn right on Trigger Road. Before you get to the venue take the first right and follow it all the way back to the parking lot behind OSF Healthcare Franciscan Prairie Center (5901 W War Memorial Dr, Peoria, IL 61615). There will be a small sign in front of the parking lot entrance. A charter bus will pick you up from that parking lot and take you to the venue. When you leave, the charter bus will pick you up outside of the venue and take you back to the parking lot.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend that you should arrive at least a half hour prior to the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled! Please note that you will need extra time to park and use the shuttle in order to be transported to the venue.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotel to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! If you have booked a room at the Wingate hotel under our wedding block, the hotel shuttle can take you to and from our wedding. This allows you to celebrate the night with us and not have to worry about driving afterward!

Question

When do I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by April 12, 2025. Unfortunately if you do not RSVP by this date there will not be a seat for you due to having to provide vendors with a final number in enough time before the wedding.

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to help us coordinate our day with our vendors. This means our wedding is RSVP only. The guests you are allowed to bring will be listed on your invitation.

Question

What should I do if I cannot make it?

Answer

We wish you could come, but we completely understand. You will be missed! If you cannot attend, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "no" by April 12, 2025. so we can plan accordingly.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends dressed up with us! The dress code for our special day is semi-formal attire. Women: Dresses, jumpsuits, rompers, or dressy shirts and pants. Men: Slacks or khakis, button down shirts, dress shoes. Jacket and/or tie optional. No jeans, please. Out of respect for the bride, please do not wear white, cream, or ivory. Thank you!

Answer

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. This means that we ask that you do not use your phones or cameras for photos. We have hired a professional photographer to capture the many amazing moments for us. This allows you to freely enjoy the ceremony. Following the ceremony, feel free to take as many pictures and videos as you would like. You can upload the photos using the QR code that will be on the back of the information card on your dinner plate. We would love to see them!
