The first time I met Aaron was sophomore year of high school at a Moe's in Woodstock, GA. Right off the bat we despised each other. A few months later we reunited at a beach trip with mutual friends and by the end of the first night we were best friends and have been ever since. Aaron is the definition of a best man and a best friend. He constantly leads me towards Christ and encourages me. He also introduced me to Lanna in 2017 and for that I am forever grateful!

My sweet Leslie and I have been best friends since high school. She is my adventure buddy, my faithful and loyal friend, and one of the biggest encouragers and gifts in my life. I caught the bouquet at her wedding and now she will be standing by my side at my wedding!
Brady Watkins

I have know Brady and his family since middle school! Brady and I became really close in college when he transferred to Georgia Southern and was one of my roommates. I can't wait for everyone to see His dance moves and hopefully hear a couple of his jokes as he is one of the funniest guys I know. The most important thing is how much of a godly influence he is in my life. He provides foundational truth from scripture and gives sound wisdom and insight into my life.

Madi and I met at summer camp. Who knew my room leader would end up being one of my best friends? Madi is always kind, a good listener and a forever friend.

I have known Seth the longest of all of my groomsmen and that is because he is my blood brother! Seth and I are very different in a lot of ways. You will know that he is a goof ball as soon as you meet him and he also will not buy clothes from a thrift store, I pretty much only shop at the thrift store and it takes a while to see my goofy side. He is not only my blood brother, but a brother in Christ and that brings me so much joy!

Michelle and I met while working at FCS in college. After I left FCS, she continued to invite me back to South Atlanta almost every Thursday night for gals night. She is wise, loving, and has been the biggest supporter in Shane and I's relationship. We truly wouldn't have made it here without her. This is the only photo I could find of just Michelle, and it is from when her and her husband had a "Yes Day" for their kids!

Tim, otherwise known as Slim Tim has been in my life since the summer before my freshmen year of college. We met in a class where we became instant friends and hung out all the time. I watched Tim's life radically change by Christ my freshmen year and he is now a guy that I look up to in his passion for Him. Tim is one of the most intentional and caring guys I know and I am honored to have him as my friend.

Kat and I have been best friends since her freshman year at Georgia Tech when she came to a swing dancing event and we instantly clicked. Kat is cool, curious, and always down to do anything. I am very thankful to get to be a part of her life and become a part of her family.

Our relationship went from retreats, to filming and editing car commercials, to trips across the country and somewhere during all of that we became super close friends! Will is a guy that I cannot help but respect. He is a great leader and knows how to put others first. I am more than blessed to have Will standing by my side at my wedding.

Laurie and I got set up by the best man Aaron Schroeder and we have been best friends ever since. One of the best memories we have shared is driving to Colorado from Myrtle beach one summer. She is honest, loving, and my favorite workout buddy.

Riley is my longest active friend! That right there says a lot! I met Riley in third grade because his mom was my third grade teacher. Riley and I grew up with each other, but kind of from a distance. We always played baseball against each other and he was always around my school, even though he did not go there. A few years later and we were roommates our freshmen year of college. We shared a little room with two twin beds and we experience all of college together! He has been a great friend who challenges those around him to be better and is one of the smartest people I know. Riley is a one of a kind and I am so glad I can call him a friend.

Madison, whom everyone calls MJ but I call Madison, is my longest friend. We met playing soccer together in middle school, and we've been ballin it up ever since (literally we still play on a co-rec team together). Madison is my quarantine buddy, the most considerate and attentive person I know, loves the earth, and craves adventure.

Bryce is another guy who could be a standup comedian. Hang around him for a minute and I guarantee you will be trying to catch your breath from laughter. Bryce and I met a long time ago, but did not become really good friends until high school. Bryce is a guy that cares for his friends very well and is always open to listen and learn. Those are some hard qualities to find now days, but Bryce does those things very well. He is easy to be around, everyone loves him, and I am thankful for him!

Claudia and I became friends at Georgia Tech. We were both intimidated by each other at first, but once we broke the ice a beautiful friendship formed. Claudia is fun-loving, loves God, and loves her friends so well.

Marcus is Lanna's brother and I have truly enjoyed getting to know him more and more over the past few months. He is light-hearted, adventurous, and confident. He has accepted me into the family and I look forward to getting to know him even more over the years!

Jiji and I became friends on a spring break trip to Universal in college. We stayed in the same room and became besties overnight. Jiji is so fun, wise, and loves to laugh.
Luke Ganster

Big Luke is the reason I have long hair. About 8 years ago we made a deal that if I grew my hair out to his length then we would get dreads. Well that never happened and we both just a couple of mop heads. I know I have said this about some of my other groomsmen, but Luke can get a whole room bursting out in laughter in a matter of seconds. He is also adventurous and caring. He asks good questions and is light hearted. I am so thankful to have Luke in my life and as a friend that genuinely wants the best for me.

Sirena and I became friends at summer camp too. She had just moved to Atlanta and we spent the whole summer adventuring the city together. I treasure all the fun memories we have together. Sirena is extremely loving, so much fun, and genuine.
