Lauren led with an insult (accidentally, I swear!) and Michael has rolled with the punches ever since. Our first date was at Bad Weather Brewery in St Paul.

Lauren has always been a lover of Duluth, so when I decided to ask her to marry me I couldn’t think of a better place to propose. One frigid weekend in January we made last minute plans for a trip to Duluth. Saturday morning we woke up to negative 15 degree temps and incredible sea smoke over Lake Superior. I was able to use that as an excuse to get her out onto Park Point to where I proposed to her on the beach, outside, on Lake Superior, in the middle of January. It couldn’t have unfolded more perfectly.

CHS Field has always been a favorite date night location for us! We've enjoyed many a Friday night seated out on the berm heckling the visiting team's outfielders and drinking our favorite craft beer. We can't wait to share this place with our favorite people for our big day!
