What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be dearly missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "no", so that we can plan accordingly. Thank you!

Can I bring guests / +1's not noted on my invitation?

Answer

We have addressed the invitations to the people we would love to come. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Please ensure that you're RSVPing for yourself and your guest. Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate guests formally invited on our wedding invitation.

Is there a wedding hashtag?

Answer

Yes, there is. It is #ANEWPAIROFSLACKS and if you post any pictures from the wedding we would love if you used the hashtag so we could easily find them!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends get dressed up with us! We are requesting a cocktail attire dress code for our evening. Wear whatever color you like, but please, do not wear white.

Are children invited?

Answer

We love all your little ones! However, due to many factors including limited space, we respectfully request that you only bring children that are included on your invitation.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. This just means we are asking that all phones and devices be put away during the duration of the ceremony. Why? Well we've hired a professional to capture some of the most important moments in our lives, and we would hate to have a well-meaning persons device blocking that moment for her to capture. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos as you want!

Yes, there is onsite parking.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes, please visit our "Travel" page for our hotel recommendation. Please call and say it's for the Slack wedding to be part of our hotel block.

Can I walk around the gardens?

Answer

Yes, we have the grounds to ourself for the event! After the ceremony, during cocktail hour would be the perfect time to walk around and explore the grounds. There are acres of beautiful gardens and fountains. A great opportunity for a photo op!
