Question

What costs should we plan for?

Answer

The estimated total cost for a 3-night stay is $1,600–$1,800 per person, including a round-trip flight from Houston, airport transfers, and all-inclusive accommodations at the Marquis Los Cabos. Our discounted group rate is $515 per night for double occupancy, with a three-night minimum stay required by the resort. Round-trip flights from Houston generally range from $600–$900, and airport transfers average $60 per person each way.

Question

When should we book our flights?

Answer

We recommend booking flights between February and April 2026 for the best rates and flight options. Airlines often release New Year sales early in the year, and booking during this time typically offers the best value for October travel.

Question

How do I book my room under the wedding group rate?

Answer

A link has been provided under “Travel” to book directly under our wedding room block at Marquis Los Cabos. Please be sure to use this link to receive the discounted rate and be counted toward our guest list. Note, ensure that it says “John & Kate Wedding” when booking on the hotel website.

Question

Which airport should we fly into?

Answer

Please book flights to Los Cabos International Airport (SJD). The resort is approximately 30 minutes from the airport.

Question

How do I get from the airport to the resort?

Answer

Airport transfers can be arranged through the resort or via private shuttle. Transportation typically costs $60 per person.

Question

What does “all-inclusive” include?

Answer

Your stay at Marquis Los Cabos includes all meals, beverages (including premium spirits), and access to the resort’s amenities and daily activities. Guests can enjoy five restaurants and bars offering a variety of international cuisines — from casual poolside bites to elegant fine dining. Please note that one specialty restaurant requires an additional charge and advance reservation.

Question

Do I need a passport?

Answer

Yes. A valid U.S. passport is required for entry into Mexico and must not expire within 6 months of your travel dates.

Question

What’s the weather like in Cabo in October?

Answer

Expect warm, sunny days in the high-80s and pleasant evenings in the high-70s.

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

We kindly ask that only the guests listed on your invitation attend. Due to limited capacity and resort requirements, we’re unable to accommodate additional guests. We’re so grateful for your understanding and look forward to celebrating this special occasion together in Cabo.

Question

Can I stay somewhere else?

Answer

We kindly ask that guests stay at Marquis Los Cabos under our wedding block to ensure a seamless guest experience and participation in all weekend events.
