What is the dress code?

Answer

We ask our guests to dress in formal garden party attire for our celebration at the lake. For women, dresses are encouraged. We recommend block heels, wedges, or flat sandals, as much of the reception will take place on grass. For men, a suit jacket and dress pants are perfect. We invite you to have fun with bright colors and florals to embrace the season!

Our bridal party will be in shades of yellow, with the groomsmen in black suits and bow ties.

Where should I stay?

Answer

We have multiple hotel blocks listed with booking discounts. There are many Airbnb, VRBO, and bed & breakfast properties as well.

When should I book a hotel?

Answer

Now! Downtown Stillwater is a very popular weekend destination and we encourage you to book your accommodations as soon as possible. If you are having difficulties finding accommodations, please reach out to Sarah or Jack.

Will there be transportation provided?

Answer

Shuttles will depart from the Country Inn & Suites, The Lora, and Hotel Crosby at 4:00 PM and 4:30 PM. The Lora and Hotel Crosby are conveniently located in downtown Stillwater for guests staying at nearby rentals. Several bars and restaurants are located within walking distance of each hotel for those who wish to spend additional time exploring downtown before heading to the reception.

Will there be parking available?

There will be limited parking. If you intend to drive, please let us know in your RSVP so we may plan accordingly.

Can I use Uber or Lyft?

Answer

Ride share services are very limited and often unable to reach the reception. They are more plentiful downtown.

Can I leave my car parked at the church?

Answer

If you plan to leave your vehicle in Stillwater, we recommend utilizing one of the downtown parking ramps or nearby street parking, and taking the shuttle from one of the designated hotel pickup locations. Vehicles may not be left in the church parking lot.

What happens if it rains?

The show must go on! We will update guests if there are any concerns about severe weather.

Can I bring my kids or a plus one?

Answer

We kindly ask that only the guests listed on the invitation and RSVP attend. Due to limited space and the intimate nature of our backyard celebration, we are unable to accommodate additional guests, including children and plus ones. We appreciate your understanding!
