Question

Why do some people's wedding invitations say noon and others say 6?

Answer

Well, we have decided to do two weddings in one day to allow us to keep our numbers per party down while keeping our guest list high! Please reach out to us if you have any questions.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Street Parking is available around the venue (you may end up a block or three away). We are working on arranging shuttles with the hotels, but they are hesitant to commit to that currently due to Covid. We would recommend most people anticipate using a rideshare (more on that below), a taxi service, or public transportation to get to and from the wedding. To use ride share you will need to download the application on your smartphone, sign up for an account, and enter your payment information before you can request a ride on-demand. Uber: https://www.uber.com/ Lyft: https://www.lyft.com/ Public Transit is also available through RTD, and they have a handy trip-planner on their website to help guide you to the right routes at the right time: https://www.rtd-denver.com/app/plan RTD also have a smartphone application that you can use to purchase tickets prior to jumping on a bus or train.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love seeing everyone's beautiful children, we have decided to ask you to keep them at home for our wedding night.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Dress code recommendations are semi-formal or cocktail attire, with hopes people show up in their favorite dresses and dress shirts with ties!

Question

Is there Parking at the Botanic Gardens for The Sunday Brunch?

Answer

There is free parking at the Botanic Gardens parking garage that can be accessed from either York Street (Southbound one-way) or Josephine Street (Northbound one-way).

Question

Will I need to wear a mask?

Answer

The state of Colorado does have a mask mandate in place. We are asking that guests wear their masks inside of the venue when not eating or drinking, especially when they go to the bar or approach a table with food on it. We also would appreciate folks wearing masks when they go to the restroom as this is a tighter space. If you need a mask, we have been to Costco and have plenty to share!

Question

How can I communicate with others my Covid Comfort Levels?

Answer

We will have small ribbons and bracelets in the colors green, yellow and red that guests can pin to their clothes or wear to signify their level of caution in regards to the virus. Red = high-level of caution taken, Yellow = Medium level of caution taken, Green = Low level of caution taken. These are meant to communicate to one another how comfortable or not comfortable you are in your interactions with others, but are at your discretion to choose to wear one.

Question

Do I need to get a Covid test before attending the wedding?

Answer

If you are willing and able to take a covid test a couple of days before the wedding, the bride and groom would appreciate it. If you are interested in getting tested in Denver, here is a resource for free testing around the metro area that will return results 24-48 hours with dozens of sites to choose from: Covid-Check-Colorado. If you need a rapid-result test (within 15 minutes), we would recommend obtaining one at an urgent care clinic, noting that these do have a cost, but most major insurers (not all) are covering that cost. Two urgent care clinics near our venue are Zip Clinic and AFC. There is a rapid-test site in Terminal B at the Denver Airport, and a site in the parking lot at the Cherry Creek Mall, but these do require an out-of-pocket expense not covered by insurance. If you have any questions about this please reach out.

Question

I got an email from the venue about a waiver, what is this?

Answer

The venue is required to send a waiver via email to all of the guests that must be signed releasing them of liability for disease transmission. Please sign and return per their instructions upon receipt. There will be physical copies at the venue to sign if it was not done before-hand. The venue will also require your consent to get your temperature at the door before you enter.

Question

What environmental things are being done to reduce Covid exposure risks?

Answer

In addition to our venue's HVAC and filtration system, we have rented medical-grade air purifiers to increase the volume and frequency of air purification inside the venue. The venue also has a garage door on the west wall that we intend to leave open to provide additional fresh air into the space. There is also a small outdoor space which we plan to utilize for some of the day, but it will always be open for people to enjoy. Hand sanitizer will be located in several places around the venue. We also are keeping our table numbers down to 6 or 7 at the most.
