Our story began freshman year of college at Southern Union State Community College in Auburn, Alabama. Through a mutual friend, Will and I crossed paths, and little did we know that a simple introduction would lead to the greatest love story of our lives. What started as friendship quickly grew into something deeper. Over the next five years, we built a relationship rooted in love, laughter, faith, and a whole lot of Auburn memories. Our engagement was intimate and perfect — just us, exactly how we wanted it. One Sunday in June after church, Will suggested we take a walk at our favorite park in Auburn. As we strolled, he guided me toward a beautiful white house with a peaceful porch. There, with the summer sun shining, he took my hands and began to speak the sweetest words. Then, he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. It was a moment we’ll cherish forever. We are so grateful the Lord brought us together and continues to guide our journey. We can’t wait to begin this next chapter as husband and wife, surrounded by the people we love most. "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres." 1 Corinthians 13:4–7
