Question
When is the deadline to RSVP?
Answer
To ensure we are able to get final headcounts to our vendors in time, we ask that you have your RSVP submitted by July 18th at the latest.

Are plus ones allowed?
Answer
If the guest you wish to have accompany you to our wedding is not named on your invitation, please reach out to the bride or groom by text or by email at gerettandlaney@gmail.com to request they be added to the guest list. Plus ones will be added on the basis of how many seats we have available.

What should I wear?
Answer
We kindly ask our guests to dress in semi-formal attire. Think cocktail dresses, dressy skirts or jumpsuits, and suits or dress shirts with slacks or khakis. August can be toasty, so feel free to choose breathable fabrics- we hope you’ll be dancing the night away with us! Florals and lots of vibrant color are also welcomed, but no white dresses, please. Please note that the ceremony will take place outdoors and there will be access to an air conditioned space throughout the evening.

Will there be alcohol at the wedding?
Answer
Yes! We’ll have a bar available for our guests to enjoy throughout the celebration. Please remember to bring your ID if you plan to drink. Come ready to raise a glass with us!

Are phones allowed during the ceremony?
Answer
Our ceremony is being photographed by an excellent photographer, so we respectfully ask you to keep your phones put away during the ceremony, but you are free (and encouraged!) to use them and take pictures as you wish both before and after.

Is smoking allowed?
Answer
Smoking is NOT allowed anywhere on the venue grounds besides the parking lot. Breaking this rule forfeits our deposit, so please, if you smoke do so in the authorized areas.

Are children welcome at your wedding?
Answer
If your child or children were included in your invitation, we would love for them to join us! If they were not included in your invitation and you wish to bring them, please reach out to the bride or groom by text or email (gerettandlaney@gmail.com) to ensure we have enough seats.
Question
When should I arrive?
Answer
Our ceremony will take place at 6:00pm. You may arrive as early as 5:00pm, but we ask that you are seated by 5:45pm at the latest. Please note that the road into the venue will be closed at 5:55pm to ensure vehicle noise is not interrupting the ceremony. If you arrive after this time, you will not be allowed to enter the venue until after the ceremony has concluded.
