We met at Laney's house when she was home for Christmas Break in 2018. Daniel came over to take Sam (Laney's brother) fishing. Laney was impressed of how friendly Daniel was by kindly shaking her hand and introducing himself. It wasn't until September of 2020 that we started talking more since Sydney (Laney's sister) gave Daniel Laney's number, and the rest is history!

Daniel had picked up Laney Christmas Eve to take her to his "family Christmas get-together." As we pulled onto his grandmother's road, Daniel took a detour to a beautiful pond that he wanted "to show" Laney. Daniel walked Laney down to the decorated dock and got on one knee and Laney said "YES!" We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you.
