Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

The ceremony, cocktail hour and reception will be held on the grounds of the Hermitage Museum in Norfolk, VA.

What time should I arrive?

We ask that all guests arrive 5:00pm to ensure that everyone has time to park and find their seat!

What should I wear?

Answer

We would like to see all of our guest dress up with us! We request semi-formal/ Cocktail attire.

Is the wedding outdoors?

Answer

Yes, as the sun will be shining (hopefully), both the ceremony & the reception will be outdoors. Please dress appropriately and keep hydrated throughout the day! Indoor space is limited, as it is a museum.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will be unplugged. An announcement will be made at the beginning of the ceremony. Don't worry, We have hired a professional to capture our special moment! There will be opportunities to take photos after the ceremony!

How do I RSVP for the big day?

Answer

We ask that all guest RSVP online by clicking the RSVP tab at the top of the screen. Please make sure you RSVP by June 1st, 2025. All guest that do not RSVP by this date will be considered unable to make it and will not be accommodated.

Can I bring a guest/date?

Answer

If you received a plus one, your guest's name is listed on your invitation and will appear under your name when you RSVP. Otherwise we would like to keep our wedding as intimate as possible.

Are children welcome?

Answer

As much as we love your little ones, our wedding is an adult only ceremony and reception. We want everyone to let loose and have fun, use the night as a 'night out'.

What food will be served?

Answer

Mission BBQ will be serving a buffet style meal, pulled pork and pulled chicken.
