Nicole worked at the YMCA where Lane had a gym membership. Lane did not have a keycard for the longest time, so Nicole would check him in daily by name. Nicole had the biggest crush on Lane and looked forward to going to work knowing she would see him. Nicole caught Lane’s eye and he asked his friend, who was also employed with the YMCA, about her to find out if she was single. Nicole beat him to it and added him on Facebook once she worked up the courage. He immediately messaged her asking her on a date. The rest is history!

Lane and Nicole went to Lane’s parents house to celebrate his birthday. While opening presents, Lane grabs the last gift and slowly gets down on one knee. He said the best gift he could ask for would be making Nicole his wife and pulled out the ring. Nicole said yes and champagne was popped!
