We're getting married!

Melissa and Lane first met on Hinge, a popular dating app, in the early spring of 2019. If you asked Melissa, she would say that her knees first became weak at the sight of a horseback photo of Lane in a cowboy hat. On the flip side, Lane would tell you that his first impression of Melissa was a curiosity as to why a beautiful young woman who went to college in North Carolina would ever don a Minnesota Gophers shirt (On, Wisconsin!). During their first date at Old Crow in Wrigleyville, they bonded over their shared interest in country music, the fact that Melissa is not a Gophers fan and the wild coincidence that they resided across the street from each other in the city. Furthermore, the laughs started...and they have yet to end. Fast forward 4 years and the only thing that's changed is Melissa recently revealing a secret that when they first started dating, she spent the entirety of her days catching up on Game of Thrones seasons so that Lane wasn't disappointed when they'd sit down each Sunday for new episodes. Some of Melissa and Lane's favorite things to do together include: Morning walks with Tellie, their beautiful golden retriever puppy, finding the next best cup of coffee, summer afternoons by the lakefront, fall Saturdays in Madison for Badger football games and taking ski trips with their friends.
