Lane met Kylie the summer after her 7th grade year. Lane had just started dating Kylie's best friend. She of course wanted to meet her best friends new boyfriend but he had a baseball game. So she settled for meeting him over the phone. After Lane’s game, they spent the entire night talking on the phone until the sun rose the next morning. They were both surprised at how they connected and how much they had in common. The next day, without ever meeting him in person, or seeing a photo, Kylie knew she had to let Brittney know she really liked her new boyfriend. Luckily, Brittney wasn't very attached, she gladly called him, ended things, and told him he should really date Kylie instead. Lane and Kylie officially started dating September 22, 2007. Who would have thought one phone call would turn into this. After almost 15 years together they are finally saying I do! Don't worry Brittney is still one of Kylie's best friends. I am sure she will be taking the credit for introducing Lane and Kylie in a fabulous speech during the reception!
