We’re Getting Married!

Our story began when Lane transferred to Cove High School. Not long after we met, it was clear that what started as a friendship was becoming something special. From the very beginning, our relationship has been filled with kindness, laughter, a sense that God was gently guiding our paths together. We have been together for almost five years, officially beginning our journey on June 2, 2021. One of our favorite traditions, and something we hope to continue, is traveling to a new place each year to celebrate our anniversary. From the quiet charm of Dayville, Oregon, to the wonder of Yellowstone (our favorite!), the energy of Seattle, and the sunshine of Miami, each trip has become a chapter in our story filled with memories, adventure, and gratitude for the life we are building together. On November 30, 2025, what Kailee expected to be a simple Christmas tree hunt with her family became a moment she will never forget. Though there was a plan in place, the day unfolded in its own wonderful way. After two hours of searching, we finally found the perfect tree. Lane asked Kailee’s sister, Kendra, to take a few photos, and in that quiet, unassuming moment, he got down on one knee and asked Kailee to be his forever. Surrounded by fresh air, family, and the joy of the season, the beginning of our next chapter quietly and beautifully began. As we prepare for marriage, we are deeply thankful for God’s faithfulness, the love and support of our families and friends, and everyone who has played a role in our journey. We are so excited to begin this next chapter hand in hand, trusting God as we step into a lifetime of love together.
