Wedding Party

Imagine if we never met the broskis.

Nadia Barada

Maid of Honor

“I first met RiRi during a discipleship program called the Forge. We were roommates (shout out to Zebulun) and instant best friends. Eurica has a gift of making people feel welcomed and empowered in her presence, and I have learned an incredible amount about my worth and value through following her as she follows Jesus. She is theatrical and expressive, and I’m witty and dry. We make a great team. We never stop laughing. I am honored to stand by her as she marries such an honorable and generous man. CAN’T WAIT.”

Logan Reed

Best Man

“I’m Logan, Lane’s brother! We grew up together and we will always be together. I’m excited to stand up next to my brother!”

Lisa Saba

Bridesmaid

“Most people reading this know Eurica as Eurica because that’s her name, but I’ve always known her as Nells. Our destinies collided at age 6, making our friendship the longest and strongest friendship I’ve ever had. We’ve shared lifetimes worth of memories, food, laughs, and schemes. We love a good scheme. Like that time we tried to go to New York alone for 1 day to see Aaron Tveit in his last performance of Catch Me If You Can (we were 15), or the time we cleaned her house to prove that we deserved a puppy (we didn’t). I couldn’t imagine a life without Nells. We are family. I could write an entire 6-part anthology on our experiences. Our friendship is timeless and priceless. I’d give her my major organs if she needed them. I love her so much and I could not be happier for her and Lane.”

Zachary Fowler

Groomsman

“Lane and I met in middle school. We always knew each other but we connected later down the road singing in high school choir together, going to metal concerts and screaming in our hardcore bands, Intrepid and Come Forth, respectively. Long live the Buda, Texas, metal scene!! Lane and I grew closer when we connected a few years after high school after I had just given my life to Jesus Christ in 2014. Lane and I have been praying, laughing and moshing ever since. I have been blessed and encouraged by his life. I’m am excited to see the race set before Lane and Eurica in their marriage!”

Alex Leggett

Bridesmaid

“Alex and Eurica knew each other for a bit before they were *actually* friends, but it only took one viewing of the Beyonce I Am World Tour on DVD to solidify this friendship for life. Alex Leggett is Eurica’s close personal friend from the Forge. They’ve decided that they shouldn’t travel abroad together without a chaperone. Alex hopes to go down in history as Eurica’s friend who, above all else, loved queso the most.”

Matthew Wells Meyers

Groomsman

“I met Lane in the Fall of 2015 and we have since bonded for our love of sports, old school video games and crummy action flicks. Lane and I once ate a 30 inch pizza together which is a memory I will never forget nor ever do again. I like to think I played huge part in Lane and Eurica’s relationship being that Lane would stay with me when he visited Dallas. Lane is humble, sincere and one of my best friends and together with Eurica are some of my favorite people to be around. Let’s get these two kids married!”

Angie Vital

Bridesmaid

“As women of color, Austinites, volleyball lovers, and Sisters for the Lord - Eurica and Angie were destined for lifelong friendship. With Eurica’s spirit of empowerment and Angie’s thoughtfulness they could run the world.”

Kyle Popores

Groomsman

“Lane & I met our second year at Pine Cove. He immediately showed he’s THE MAN at seeing God’s faithfulness in any person or situation. You see if I were a plant I’d be a cactus. I don’t make it easy but through all our adventures he’s chosen to focus on the good in me. That is miraculous & that is Lane’s character.”

Katie Hansen

Bridesmaid

“Katie and Eurica (known to Katie as Nells) quite literally grew up together. Quickly bonded by a love and passion for the stage and all things dramatic and sparkly, Nells and Katie became life long “kindred spirits”. Communication requires very little effort, or words for that matter, as facial expressions and gestures will suffice for one to fully understand the other. After all these years, sometimes distance, and of course drama, laughter, and sparkles, Katie is honored to stand with her kindred spirit on this special day, and to come alongside the happy couple as they run the race towards Jesus together.”

Westley Eyster

Groomsman

“My relationship with Lane and Eurica started out during a program where we learned who we were and what we were doing here. Let’s just say we were forced to be friends, and forced to have intentional conversations. I’m honored to be standing up beside Lane and Eurica, I will hold both of you accountable to the covenant you are making toward each other. I just hope one day we can sit down and watch Emperors New Grove, I don’t think Lane has seen it yet.”

Cassie Holbert

Bridesmaid

"Eurica and I first met when Tedashii came out at Pine Cove orientation and we both sprinted to the front and danced so much together and we didn't even know each-other. Little did we know, God's kindness has allowed us to continue dancing through many seasons together. It's my honor to give my dancing partner away to a man that loves her faithfully."

Pierce Riddick

Groomsman

“Lane is the man. Getting to know him over the year we spent in our discipleship program - the Forge- was integral for both of us. Learned a lot, grew a lot, challenged each other, and laughed a ton. I’m excited to stand up next to you at the wedding and throughout marriage my dude!”

Kayla Solley

Bridesmaid

”Kayla and Eurica became best friends by sharing a glorious room together in a ~dream home~ in Dallas. The two of them immediately became sisters for life by realizing they were practically the same person in every expression. (dance, socially, fav music, fav tv etc etc etc.) You may remember this season of roomie magic by the 74939846 Instagram stories posted by each of them (long live classical Kayla).”

Jordan Neel

Groomsman

“I met lane a couple of years ago after he did the forge and moved to Tyler. We were roommates for a couple of years and loved it! From changing flat tires, open Mic nights, eating way too much pizza, and enjoying cheap whiskey and even cheaper cigars, Lane makes everything fun! He also is one of the most sincere and gentle men that I know and I thank God for his friendship.”

Caroline Camp

Bridesmaid

"During the summer of 2017 I had the GIFT of being led by Eurica working for Pine Cove's Camp in the City. Yes, that is really recent, but a LOT happens when you work together at a traveling summer camp for 3 months and drive I-20 from South Carolina to Texas multiple times, like making friends who will stand by you at your wedding (@eurica) or developing a crush on your future husband (also @eurica). All summer long she made me laugh, she hugged me randomly, and she pointed out my strengths, constantly teaching and leading me. Eurica is a friend that is ALWAYS in my corner and I have voicemails from her that I listen to when I need motivation because what gets you going more than Eurica SINGING into a phone about how she loves and believes in you?"

Preston Reece

Groomsman

”I met Lane while traveling Israel with the Forge in 2016. All I remember is that he peed in a water bottle because the trip to Jerusalem was LONG. I then hired Lane to work BGCET and I began to mentor and walk life alongside him in 2017. He has been one of the most loyal and faithful friends I have, and I am super thankful for his friendship!”

Trevor Mullikin

Groomsman

“Lane and I served as senior counselors together with Pine Cove’s Camp in the City. We hit if off when my skit character, Tommy Bahama, and his, AmeriCat, competed as the most beloved character to our team. Needless to say, I won, but nevertheless Lane and I became close brothers giving all our efforts to build up the counselors we were serving. I was blessed to see a man full of dignity, honor, and humility. Our personalities fed off each other, creating many moments of laughter that are inherently priceless. Even more so, Lane and I determined ourselves to strengthening our spirits in Christ together as we navigated two very different paths, yet they ran close and far.”

Luke Cummings

Officiant

“I first had the privilege of meeting and quickly befriending both Lane and Eurica (in the pre-dating phase) on a trip to Israel. What better foundation to build a friendship on than the Holy land?! After a few bus rides, we went from being acquaintances to good pals. The next summer they would work for me at Camp in the City as co Program Directors - probably my best accidental love connection considering this is the summer they made the transition out of friendship into dating (ask me the story sometime bc I have all the details). Since meeting these two, I’ve considered them some of my greatest friends and have loved watching their relationship flourish. I can’t wait to help them make it official on the big day!!”
