What are the venue's policies regarding COVID-19 safety?
Answer
9/20: As part of the "Key to NYC" city mandate, guests must provide proof of vaccination to attend the indoor elements of the wedding. If the weather is nice, that will just be the reception. If it rains, all parts of the wedding will be held indoors. Acceptable forms of proof include a photo of your vaccine card, the "NYC COVID Safe" app or "NY State Excelsior Pass" app. Please also provide a photo ID along with your proof. The venue will also accept medical exemption or religious exemption letters if vaccination is not possible. What is an "unplugged" ceremony?
Answer
We stole this term from our friends. An "unplugged ceremony" means that for the brief 30 minute ceremony, no guests will operate any kind of electronics (phones, cameras, camcorders, tablets, etc). This is done for several reasons: 1) we would love for everyone to be fully present for this important ceremony and not watch through a screen or camera lens, 2) standing up and moving around to get your angles could obstruct the shots for our professional photographers and videographer that we have hired to capture the big day, and obstruct the views for our other guests trying to enjoy the ceremony, and 3) we will have professional wedding pictures and a professional video that we plan to share with our guests so there's no need to take your own.

How will I know where to sit for dinner?
Answer
To improve the flow of traffic to the reception, seating assignments will be included in your ceremony program.
