Second Wedding? You're getting married again?
Answer
We had a small ceremony at the courthouse in Seattle to get legally married in 2022. Since it was still in the middle of COVID, we only could have four witnesses. We always planned to have a proper wedding later on - and here we are now!

What is the dress code for the event?
Answer
The terms for specific dress codes vary between the United States and the UK. For clarity, we have separated out the dress codes for guest from each country so there is no confusion. For those attending from the UK/Europe: Typical Scottish Wedding Attire, Highland Dress For those attending from the US: Weddings in Scotland tend to lean more formal than they do in the US. We ask that guests dress in cocktail attire. Suits, nice dresses or jumpsuits, and formal shoes. If you know Lane then you'd know she dresses up for most occasions so if you want to dress to impress she fully encourages it! Please no athleticwear or shoes. Additionally, for those wearing heals please be aware the surfaces at the venue range from stone to grass or dirt so a thicker heal may be advisable.

What time should we arrive at Cambo for the ceremony?
Answer
The ceremony will start promptly at 2:00pm but there will be welcome drinks in front of the house starting at 1:00pm.

What is a cèilidh?
Answer
A cèilidh (kay-lee) is a social event at which there is Scottish folk music from a live band and traditional dancing - similar to an American hoedown. We will be having a cèilidh during our reception so make sure you have some good dancing shoes! Lane's first time she got stepped on quite a bit.

Is there parking available at Cambo House?
Answer
There is parking available at Cambo, however, we encourage people to to carpool or taxi if they will be drinking.
