She's insisted on making sure he made good life decisions for Chapter Two, and was the obvious choice to stand alongside him once again.

Fun Fact: In the beginning of our relationship, he would come into Lane's room in the wee hours of the morning to tell us we had been on the phone for hours and we should get some sleep. He was our "chaperone".
