The terrace is the perfect place to come, enjoy a pitcher of beer and classic Wisconsin foods while taking in the beautiful Lake Mendota. There is a wide array of food available at the Memorial Union building. Also highly recommend trying the Babcock Ice Cream - made on campus in the dairy.

Lake Mendota has many walking paths in the Lakeshore Nature Preserve. Attached is a link for maps all around Madison to walk, whether you want to do something quick or a little longer.

With Bascom Hill on one end to the state capitol building on the other, it is a adorable street. Julia's favorite store is Anthology for cute posters, gifts, and cards! If you want a cute, art themed coffee shop, Julia highly recommends Michelangelo's Coffee House.
