Lane and Gabrielle’s love story sort of started while Gabrielle was playing softball at TVCC. One of her teammates, Lexi, told her about this guy she went to high school with that Gab "just had to meet.” So being single, Gabrielle found Lane on social media and thought he was soooo handsome..."that's one smokin' hot cowboy". Too bad this smokin' hot cowboy had a girlfriend…Gabrielle thought that must be the end of it. But, a year later after Lane had been single for awhile he remembered back when Lexi tried to set him up with one of her teammates, so he asked Gabrielle to go on a date. They went to Ogawa's in Ontario , (sushi is both of their favorite food), and then they saw the Lion King after. They hung out almost everyday for the next week or so, and were both smitten. They shared a love of sports, their small towns, animals, riding horses, movies, and concerts. Then about 2 weeks after their first date Lane had to go to work in Arkansas for a month on a welding job. Gabrielle drove him to the airport and cried on the way home, thinking this was last she'd see of Lane and that this was just a fun summer fling. That wasn't the case, Lane facetimed her every night until he came home. The more dates they went on and fun they had they quickly fell in love and have loved each other ever since. Lane and Gabrielle dated for almost four years before he finally popped the big question. Lane surprised Gabrielle on one knee after she branded the last calf, and his families branding.
