Matthew and Becca connected through an online dating app called Hinge in August of 2022. They quickly hit it off which led to a date on September 3rd 2022 at the Kipona Arts Festival in Harrisburg, PA. Matthew was a gentleman and insisted on picking her up at her parent’s house, which she was a little weary about knowing she met him online and never met in person until that day. She eventually agreed and he picked her up in his "jacked up" black Jeep Wrangler. Becca told him not to pull into the driveway for his own safety because her parents, grandfather and dad's best friend were all there at this time and she didn't want him to get roped into conversation and questions. LOL. He followed instructions, parked at the road, she hopped in and away they went! They went to Kipona festival and then little did she know that was not all Matthew had planned. After walking around Kipona and getting to know each other, the date continued to mini golf on City Island in Harrisburg (Becca lost) and then later to Evergrain Brewery. Becca quickly knew after the first date that he was the one and so did her family when he quickly convinced her to go on their second date hiking at 6:30am. Anyone who knows Becca knows that she is not a morning person. Their second date was hiking because they wanted their dogs Rocky and Callie to meet. Swatara state park is where they hiked that day and they frequently take their dogs there to this day as it is near their home they bought in Jonestown, PA. This place continues to hold a special place in our love story as it was where Matthew proposed to Becca on August 2nd 2025. And the rest is history. Now here we are waiting patiently for our wedding day to come. We are so excited you all get to celebrate this season of life with us.
