We spent 4th of July weekend at one of our favorite places Swifts Beach! But of course not everything went as planned. There was a massive thunderstorm the night before the proposal that caused power outages all over the town. The power didn't come back on until 4pm the day of the proposal which caused a bit of stress for Corey (obviously Makayla had no clue what was happening or why he was on edge). Once the power came back on we celebrated of course and headed down to the beach for pictures at sunset with our dog Rue, Makayla's best friend Laura, and Corey's father. Corey got down on one knee and the rest is history!
