We hope your trip up to wine country is seamless so we wanted to share some flight and hotel recommendations.
For flights we recommend flying into Santa Rosa Airport (STS). This is about a 30-45 min drive from Downtown Sonoma. Alternatively, you can fly into San Francisco International Airport (SFO) but this will be a longer drive.
We recommend you stay in Downtown Sonoma for convenience but you can also stay in surrounding cities such as Rohnert Park, Santa Rosa, or even Napa.
We also recommend checking AirBnB and VRBO for additional lodging options.
Definitely book earlier rather than later due to it being harvest season in Sonoma.
