Landon and Taylor met by sitting next to each other in English class in 8th grade. Landon asked Taylor out at her locker in 8th grade, and as a classic middle school relationship, they texted a lot, went on a date to the movies, and had their first kiss on the top of the Rock County Fair Ferris Wheel. As Landon loves to tell people, Taylor broke up with him in the beginning of 9th grade. They stayed good friends throughout high school and college, and when they both finally became single again our Junior year of college, Taylor and Landon went on our first date to Fuji Steakhouse in Janesville, and spent the day exploring Chicago the next day. They spent the next two years adventuring together, and have loved every second.

Landon and Taylor planned to get an Air BnB together in Milwaukee to celebrate our two year anniversary. Taylor picked Landon up at a park-and-go, and when they got to our Air BnB apartment, it was to her surprise that Landon had been there and decorated the entire apartment. Strung around the apartment were balloons with labeled pictures in order from the day the two met. At the end of the string of balloons, Landon was in the back room with rose pedals and candles on the floor on one knee. For as long as we live, they will never forget that night.
