On the first day of class sophomore year at UNC, I (Rose) found myself standing in the doorway of Bingham Hall, scanning for an empty seat. It was a typical scene - a room full of students, each seat seemingly occupied. Just when I thought I might have to stand for the entire lecture, an act of kindness changed everything. That's when Landon, offered me his seat with a warm smile. It was the beginning of our beautiful journey together, where kindness and consideration were the foundation of our connection.
