I have found the one whom my soul loves

Landon and I met at sand volleyball, where he told me he invited a bunch of people but really only invited me and Emma Joy. The court was sopping wet so we couldn’t even play. We ended up just talking about our life and then got snow cones. When I left I knew that was the man I was going to marry and I told everyone I could! People laughed but I knew he was the one I was going to spend forever with.

I proposed to Lexi Grace out by the lake at her parents house. What she thought was going to be a normal picnic date where we would talk about life, would turn out to be a big party celebrating our engagement. I walked her outside, told her to leave her belongings, and had her close her eyes. We practically sprinted as I pulled her along with her eyes closed, leading her down a rock path she almost tripped on because I walked so fast. When we finally got to the water, I told her to open her eyes. A sign read “Coker Est. 2021”, picture of us and flowers decorated the scene. And right behind it all I had hidden the ring. I led her behind the pallet set up like a fine dining table, got down on one knee, and asked her to marry me. Best decision I’ve ever made. We were joined soon after by friends and family who welcomed us as a newly engaged couple. After everyone left that night we got Taco Bell, looked at each other, and smiled for a long time. Realizing we’re about to get to spend our lives together.
