We met through mutual friends in August of 2020. We had both been intersted in each other but neither of us acted on it. In November of 2020, we met again. We were both at the same birthday party and hit it off. We continued to pursue each other and began dating in January of 2021. The rest is history!

Landon surprised me with a trip to Greece in August of 2024. I had my suspicions of an engagement but Landon played it off incredibly well. We spent our first day in Mykonos at the pool of our hotel. Landon was acting incredibly odd and had a nervous energy to him. He had said several times through the day that he wanted me to wear my favorite dress I had packed that night to dinner. He had said that he was going to take me to a "super secret sunset spot" and we were going to ask someone to take our picture. He had also mentioned that I needed to make sure his outfit matched mine... lol. At that point I had a feeling he had planned something but didn't want to get my hopes up. We got ready and we left the hotel to find the "super secret sunset spot". We put the address in my phone and ultimately got lost. Landon kept saying, "We are going to be late!" and I would reply, "We aren't late to the sunset, it's right there!" He was still insistent on getting us to a specific location. I had no worry in the world and was taking pictures of everything I saw. We finally reached the "super secret sunset spot" and it was nothing short of beautiful. However, as he lead me to the spot, we passed a woman sitting down with a camera. It was at that point that I knew I was about to get proposed to. Landon guided me to the water. I was about to turn around and say something to him when he pushed me forward and nervously said, "Uh... let's do the Titanic." He did this because he hadn't gotten the ring out yet and the photographer was still setting up. I hadn't even turned around yet and I immediately started crying. It was my dream come true. I couldn't tell you what he said, and he couldn't tell you either. We had both just blacked out, LOL! Then we were guided through Mykonos with our photographer and got engagement photots! We spent the rest of the night enjoying each other's company. At dinner he debriefed his entire plan to me. He told me who knew about the engagment, how he asked my dad for my hand, when he got the ring, and all the times I *almost* spoiled my own surprise. When we got back to our hotel, we called of our people and relived our special moment with them. It was a day that we will never forget.
